The World
Pictures by Pamela Colman Smith
Pamela Colman Smith's World card from her 1909 tarot deck shows a dancer in a violet scarf floating inside a great green wreath, the four winged creatures at its corners. As the last card of the Major Arcana, it stands for a journey complete and the whole world open: completion, celebration and fulfilment. For someone reaching the end of one road and the start of the next.
