The Magician
Pictures by Pamela Colman Smith
Pamela Colman Smith's Magician from her 1909 tarot deck raises his wand to the sky, his table set with cup, sword, wand and coin, under the words "Skill, will and a fresh start." The card's message is simple: everything you need is already here, and what matters is to begin. For someone starting something new.
