Turquoise Flower Scroll
By the Picturepops™ team
Red, white and blue flowers curl along gold-outlined scrolls over a deep turquoise ground, with Happy Birthday and a wish for a wonderful day inside. The pattern comes from a Chinese porcelain bottle painted to look like cloisonné enamel, as recorded in Owen Jones's Examples of Chinese Ornament of 1867. For someone who loves color and fine old design.
