The life
active 1850s
Heinrich Walter is named, with Adolf Eltzner, on Dresden, vom Ballon gesehen, a large hand-coloured lithograph of the city seen from a balloon, printed by Lemercier in Paris for the Dresden publisher Ernst Arnold in the 1850s. Little more is known about him for certain. Our card, The Frauenkirche, Dresden, opens on that balloon’s-eye view of the city and the Elbe.
