The life
1858–1945Born Maine, USA
Charles Copeland was an American book illustrator, working from Boston for some fifty years and a member of the Boston Watercolor Society. He drew in fine pen lines for adventure stories and animal books, and for an American edition of Carlo Collodi’s Pinocchio. Our Collodi & Copeland cards come from those drawings.
