Aquarius Idealism and Benevolence
Pictures by Sidney HallWords by Belle Bart
Sidney Hall's 1824 engraving shows Aquarius, the laurel-crowned water bearer, pouring from his golden urn among the stars, with Belle Bart's 1923 line inside: "Your chief characteristics are idealism and benevolence." The picture comes from Urania's Mirror, a boxed set of hand-coloured constellation cards pierced so the stars shone when held up to the light. For an Aquarius born January 20 to February 18.
