The life
1819–1884
Edward Weller was a London engraver, mapmaker and publisher, working from Red Lion Square and later Bloomsbury, and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He made detailed maps engraved on steel and was one of the first to print maps by lithography; many of his maps appeared in the Weekly Dispatch atlas. Our card, Delhi: The Qutb Minar, has his old map of Delhi inside.
