Fruit on the Branch
Pictures by Hu Zhengyan
Design this card$13.00$18.00
Round peach-coloured fruit hang among dark green leaves on a twisting branch, a design Hu Zhengyan made for a round fan in the Ten Bamboo Studio book of 1633. Its printers shaded the colours by wiping ink across the woodblock, giving the leaves their soft, speckled depth. For someone who loves quiet, classic art.
