The life
active 1850s–1880s
Otto Krebs ran a lithography business in Pittsburgh. He founded it in the 1850s with his elder brother Adolph as Krebs & Bro., and carried it on under his own name after Adolph returned to Cincinnati in 1869, engraving and printing maps, county atlases and views. Our card, View of Pittsburgh and Allegheny, is his lithograph of 1874, looking over the rivers from Mount Washington with Allegheny City in the distance.
